Q1 Birthday Celebration and Botak Chin

Last week is horrible! I had high fever and the doctor actually gave me a 2 days MC haha don’t know for what I not working also. I was actually already considering to void the flight tickets coz I’m so sick I can’t even walk. I slept the whole afternoon off probably for 6 hours with my thick comforter without FAN in my ROOM but still feeling cold can you imagine how hot is it in the afternoon ya allah. Then I mustered whatever last bit of strength I have and showered then HuiYien chauffered me to the airport and I flew down to KL anyway.

The 1 hour flight is horrible I tell you my head has this stinging pain I wanted to cry and shout and force the plane to land immediately..where I don’t care I just want to land already!!!!!

Slept the whole night off…fever gone, head still pain but starts vomitting. Even drinking plain water also I vomit it out and it’s horrible because I haven’t eaten in 2 days and I have nothing to vomit so the feeling of nothing to vomit sucks. Step brought me to the doctor..AGAIN…and he gave me injection for all the vomitting. The injection numbs my whole hand and it’s so pain I can barely lift my arm! dammit I think it’s a trick.The doctor is just trying to divert my attention from the head pain by giving me another even more pain arm injection. *tsk

I flew down to Singapore the next day and recovered. Pills working blah blah blah just a bit weak coz I haven’t eaten so Pat brought us all out for makan and I tried to eat as much as I can coz even walking also I felt like fainting. No energy wtf.

Doctor say it’s Viral Infection. I say it’s bullshit lah everytime they cannot find the cause they just say it’s Viral Infection.

AHAHAHAHAH BOTAK CHIN AHAHAHAHA Imagine my surprise when I see him seriously I wanted to just end our friendship that day wtf. He was caught with a prostitute and was jailed for a day before they released him on a bail and after shaving his head off.

Ohh We also celebrated the Jan/Feb babies birthday.

CUPCAKES! from Cupcakes4U. And its based in Penang. All the while I thought only KL has the good stuff coz they have CuppacakesByWondermilk and all the good stuff la right. This thing is home-based, they don’t have a shop so everything has to be ordered beforehand.

Like I always say when I first arrived in Penang few years ago, I felt PG people are all trapped in that small island and felt that they’re the greatest already you know? Agree? Do you agree with me? It’s like there’s a lot of things that they don’t know!

For example, yesterday people are so amazed with the cupcakes like theynever see it before and someone even said “eh what’s that? Muffin ah? Why got drawings wan”

Anyhoooooos, I’m back to blogging. And hopefully be able to update as often as I can though I have tons of studying to do and work to finish but I need breakies too right wtf.

Mois!

Feb 7th. Few of us went after Kek Lok Si and it’s all damn packed inside like sandwich wtf just like a week before that when I just got back to PG. I got home at 5 something that night omg there goes my beauty sleep tsk

#1 Some of us. Taken post clubbing right outside Mois of which we hung out and talked outside for freaking 1.5 hours..from 3am to 4.30am wtf.

Honestly I had great fun that day. Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly shouting dancing non stop people getting drunk people making others drunk, checking out guys dum dum dee dum. And coincidentally met ChakFung and Boon inside so we all hung out together.

#2 We’re there as a farewell for Jes. She’s leaving few days after. I miss her so much coz she’s the frequent clubber wtf. haha clubber. Now I can hardly find someone to go with me sigh what’s wrong with people nowadays.

So let’s see who’s drunk. CheongSiak, *ehem YYY *ehem, Joel, VSoon acting macho smoking only haha. ChakFUng is hardly drunk not to say Boon also. Jes…drink soda only haha.

okay laugh la it’s supposed to be funny. While everyone around me or even my weighing machine told me I lost weight, Kelv said I gained weight. But aiya it’s all good, it’s good to see him again. It’s like we just met, exchanging contacts and all. He doesn’t seem to remember anything about me other than the fact that I’m fat..sigh FML.haha. I’m easily forgettable like that wtf.

Oh I have another joke.

Eh laugh la. Not funny meh? I think its damn hilarious lah I laugh until I felt my stomach cramp wtf.

Birthday Celebration – KL

I know I said imma sit down and upload all the photos but I did not. Not a surprise hurhurhur. At least I finished all 15 papers! *beaming in pride. but with lots and lots of help from Candy though. Can’t imagine if I have to write from scratch I might die!

Okay these are another set from my birthday celebration with the family. YES the Family! I don’t think I’ve actually really celebrated birthday with my family over these years. After I started working, I’ve celebrated almost all of it in the US. So after I flew back to Penang, I flew back down again the next day to KL.

#1 Landed! I took the budget airline Air Asia, which was never on time.

Step surprised me at the airport with red roses, which we used as a “tool” to brighten up all my photos haha, and a whole box of cherries dont know from where, and cupcakes! How thoughtful.

I didn’t sleep the night before coz we stayed up playing mahjong remember? and I looked like a piece of shit and I didn’t have time to bathe and freshen up and change before I cut the cake and take all the photosssss.

My sister booked a hotel room in Hilton and Martin actually bought a cake for me as a SURPRISE but it wasn’t that of a surprise after Candy told me secretly that Martin bought a cake. HAHA what a spoiler she can never keep things to herself hahaha

#2 Isn’t it pretttttttty?? It’s like the most amazing cake I’ve had. No of course I know it’s a Christmas cake but it’s bought as my brithday cake so that makes it my BIRTHDAY cake! It’s a change from all my other cakes. I wanted SPECIAL cakes. This is special cake =D

#3 Can you see the top. It’s so delicately beautifully decorated with the small ornaments and stuff. I really didn’t want to cut and eat the cake =(

#4 The flowers are nice. Minus the bear okay I hate bears haha. *cough Jes *cough would like it but not me. The hilton room is pretty okay too but it looks really dorky from the outside.

#6 Me with the coolest dad and mum in the whole world. Parents who kept taking photos from every possible angle to make sure I look good in the photos. But I just simply chose 1 of it to upload I didn’t even bother to choose the best hurhurhur

#7 Pauline & Martin, who bought the fabulous cake. And who booked the room.

#8 And this is the one who spoiled my surprise -_-” Who SECRETLY told me that Martin SECRETLY bought me a cake.

#9 Mum insisted the previous photo sucks so she insisted to take it again with proper lighting and angle of which I seriously think there’s no difference la!

I didn’t have enough sleep coz I’ve been rushing papers and once I handed them in I spent the whole day hanging OUT and ABOUT and I barely have time to sit at home /boo

Bday Celebration- Penang

I just got off the plane..again. Luckily SIA treats me nicely so my journey is still bearable. My mind is blocked right now I can’t think of anything to write so I just dig out this birthday post I wrote many weeks ago heh..

I purposely flew back to Penang to celebrate birthday with my bunch of best friends back there because I love them like that.

We couldn’t celebrate on Dec 19th itself because I have to fly away again so we planned it on Dec 18th instead. I decided on the place – Little Cottage in Waterfall Resort. Not too fancy not too expensive nice environment so everyone doesn’t have to spend a fortune on just a birthday dinner. You can easily get a full dinner course with soup and bread as appetizer, main course, dessert, coffee/tea at an affordable price of not more than RM35. Of course, with a price like that, don’t put too high expectation on the food quality though heheh.

It was a rush trip back but I enjoyed every bit of it nonetheless.

#1 The quaint nice little cafe provides warm environment decorated with christmas trees and lightings and little christmas pressies everywhere.

#2 Who else but my boy toy Kevin. He organized the whole “surprise” birthday dinner. LOL it’s not that surprise anymore for me because others have already come and told me about it haha Kevin asked if I could close down my antenna for one day because he say my antenna is so high that I know about almost everything anyone could possibly know.

#3  My baked fish. Last year in Alexandar’s, I had Sea Bass. Every birthday, I eat fish. But of course this baked fish is no where near the Sea Bass I had because that sea bass is like super good la I think.

#4 YYY, FatBoySlim and Ah Beng Kevin with FatBoySlim’s Lobster. haha It’s only in Little Cottage that he can order Lobster coz it’s only like RM50.

#5 My Soup of the Day in Bread haha I couldn’t understand a thing the waiter is trying to tell me but it sounds like I can choose to upgrade and put my soup in a bread for free or just have them in bowl. But I think I listen wrongly cause we’re charged for the bread wtf

#6 Junn ordered this hot plate something that has so much smoke almsot like there’s a fire. The smell made all of us smell like shit coz it’s air conditioned so we all blame him haha.

#13 Because I’m like a kid like that. Because I still believe in birthday wishes coming true simply because it’s a birthday wish wtf. Remember my birthday wish last year. I can’t tell you what my wish is this year because I don’t want to jinx it but please god please let it come true for once!!!!

#14 Simply cut cake just for photo purposes. I suck at cutting cake and it’s always Pey’s job because she always manage to distribute them evenly. She’s a pro cake cutter wtf.

WARNING: Never take photo from up down coz you’ll look like you have a giant head but a dwarf’s body like me now wtf /boo

#34 Ah Finally I have the chance to take one with Joe. He ah, we only get to see him during birthdays or dept dinners. Else always hide at home and become anti social cis.

I’m elated and contented and blessed because I have friends I love to celebrate with me and countdown the night with me <3. It’s a change from last year’s quiet romantic expensive dinner.

But both last and this year’s celebration is equally good because both I get to spend with people I adored. Now, I have to wait for another 364 days to be that special girl of the night again, but it’s all worth the wait.

SO when I reach there, the admin asked those who did not register (including Kevin Leong) to be quarantined in a room haha. Seriously they asked us to stay in a room until they get a table for us. There’re like almost 30+ who did nto register I guess. But Kevin say don’t care, just go in. And so I followed him in. =) We’re ah beng like that wtf

The girl in red…well…….when asked who she dressed up as, she said as herself. We’re not even sure how the winners are picked actually. No nominees. No voting. No catwalks.

After dinner, we dropped by Segas for drinks first. Was supposed to go Winter Warmers but they close at midnight so early! Segas close at 3 so we drink at Segas instead.

Turns out he went back to Bayan Lepas which is half an hour away from Segas to drop some of our colleagues back before he drive back up to Segas to meet us. -_-” So we told him to save it and go home and sleep instead.

Birthdays are nature’s way of telling us to eat more cake.

My birthday wish last year was for the person who was sitting across the table at that time, of whom I became friends again. I wished we could maintain that and be in good terms for a long long time. I wished we could throw away a part of our very opinionated nature and be more patient when dealing with each other. We were both level headed and extremely stubborn  which is why all we do when we meet is fight. But then again, that’s what makes life interesting. Same sides of  magnet never stick.

Birthday wishes don’t always come true.

But that’s okay. I have another birthday wish this year. I’ll let you know if it comes true this time next year =)

Long Winded Very Personal Post

After so many wordless posts, today I feel like giving u a full long wordy entry. I have so much to say. If you’re not up for it then you can close your browser and go away now wtf. But if you didn’t read this you’d regret it trust me wtf.

DID I TELL YOU I’M GOING TO SEE SUGAH CANDY IN LESS THAN72 HOURS WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~~~***~~

Okay anyway I’m just done with a major spring cleaning and I’m exhausted. The skin on my hand is starting to peel because the detergent is so strong and I couldn’t find any gloves so what the heck. The last time I actually cleaned and scrubbed a whole house is already back in February when my friend came to stay over. Truth is, I’m a really clean person. My room and bathroom are always spotless so all I have to clean is the living room and the kitchen. My sister is another clean freak. She couldn’t even stand a little bit of hair lying around haih wtf and she irons her clothes every morning before she leaves the house. Me? I just put my crumpled dress on the bed and keep flattening it with my bare hands WTF Or if the dress is really really really wrinkled then i’d wear it on and then pull the end of the skirt up on the ironing board and just iron the hemline because with a straight hemline it’ll give an impression that the dress is ironed =D trust me it really works.

Oops. where was I.

Yah spring cleaning. So my other friend is coming to stay over my place now and the least I could do is to make sure the place is clean.

Someone told me I’m a very hard to please girl. Well, not only someone, is actually quite a handful of people who told me that. Really? Seriously? You really think I’m so hard to please?  If you give me 1 dollar worth of keropok lekor then you’re my best friend already wtf. I guess people said that because I’m sort of materialistic. Like if you give me expensive stuff than I’d be very happy wtf.  If you throw me a Chanel bag i’d hug you. haha vain wtf.

All this while I thought I’m a very smart person. Straight A student. Apparently not. This year I went through a couple of papers. And they suck to the max. Is it because I got out of school too long time ago hence my brain literally stopped working or I’m jusst not as smart as I think I am? To start with, I didn’t think my English is THAT bad. Like seriously. But I proved myself wrong. My infamous “today morning” haih. If you can’t tell what’s wrong with that, then your English is probably as bad as mine because the correct one should be “This Morning”. When I first said it, my sister laughed at me. Even after she laughed at me, I still didn’t know what’s wrong. In my defense, she’s always bullying me for nothing anyway. I guess I have to blame it on my English teacher Mr Quek haih wtf must be he taught me something wrong lah!

And can you tell that I’m the queen of procrastination? I actually have a lot of assignments to do but I haven’t started on anything my god seriously can someone please just give me one big slap so I’d go back to work and get everything done so I can have a peaceful Christmas?

Speaking of Christmas, the other day I went window shopping and nearly lugged home a 60 inch huge Christmas Tree. You know. like the real BIG HUGE ASS Christmas Tree that I can decorate with all sorts of bells and lights and an angel on the top of the tree so I could check under the tree every morning after I wake up for surprise Christmas presents that the Santa Clause drop off for me from the chimney. But then luckily sanity get the better of me and after thinking that I’d probably have to spend few hundred dollars on an useless tree. I walked away. Phew…

You know the amount of people around me who recently broke up? Sometimes it really pains me to see them suffering and abusing themselves. Sigh. We fight we break up we kiss we make up WTF. I’ve talked to them up to a point where I started to talk in a harsh manner more like scolding wtf because if scolding them would make them wake up and face the truth then I’d do that even if it means they’d hate me you know what I mean. When people are sad they just don’t care, they want you to be sad with them and when you scold them, they go all “aiya why u like that so inconsiderate. put yourselves in my shoes and u won’t say this” okay this? Put myself in your shoes? I have my own shoes okay. You think I’ve never gone through all of that like seriously? Have you any idea what I used to have to put up with up until the point that I get blocked from all possible communication routes and then dumped? So trust me when I say I know how it feels.

But out of the million things that you can admire me on..WTF, this is one of it, that I get out of relationship very steadily. When the first time it happens, I felt like it’s the end of the world. I couldn’t eat for almost a month, surviving on cookies and Milo that my friend make for me. Jes would remember what a useless piece of shit I was. I couldn’t remember how I got out of it. The next few time it happens, I’m okay. I didn’t know if i got used to it or something but I guess I just lost hope in people in general so I have no expectation whatsoever hence no disappointment. The last time it happened, I cried for 5 hours straight. Grace would remember that heh. Then I’m up and okay again the next day. I guess I learn to look at the bright side of things esp on a relationship. I wanted to live better after a relationship, be it for myself or for the lost significant other. I will never ever again be the girl who begs to get back together like how I did the first time. I realized that when things SHOULD happen, they WILL happen. So please, live better okay?

The other day I was chatting with Hwa on compromising. We were talking about having someone who love you more than you love him is better . Because then I wouldn’t have to spend every minute trying to please him.  I hate it when that happens. I channel all my energy pleasing that someone and then end up being someone even I myself hate. Like I would buy like 10 birthday presents for the person until I finally decided the best present to actually send out, and then threw the other 9 away. Isn’t that pathetic to start with? Or you think I’m so romantic so attentive?

Next week is Kek’s wedding. I’m so excited because I haven’t seen the girls in AGES like seriously AGES like don’t know how many YEARS okay. I didn’t have a chance to because every CNY they gathered on the 2nd day but that’s the day that I’m supposed to go over to my grandma’s so that’s why I always miss out haih I haven’t really gotten a white dress yet because Kek wanted everyone to wear white as the bridesmaid. I digged out all my dresses apparently I have sky blue dark blue black purple yellow lime green duck shit green also got wtf EXCEPT white. Okay actually I found 1 white one maybe I’ll wear just that.

Next week is also my birthday *ehem* =D Can you believe how fast the year flew by. Only last year I’m in Santa Clara and celebrated my birthday alone in Applebee’s in a 6 person table haih wtf I don’t know why the waitress put me ALONE sitting in a 6 person table and everywhere around me, people are all seated in gangs WTF I felt so left out and lonely but I didn’t care because it’s MY birthday and I ordered Oreo blended, Babyback Ribs and Mushroom soup. The waitress asked me if I’m sure with my order because they’re kind of huge and I answered sombongly No Problem I can Finish it but end up I left 3 quarter of my babybackribs and untouched mushroom soup on the table but I fninished my Oreo blended YUMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. haih. I didn’t tell them it’s my birthday just in case they bring me a slice of cake and sing me birthday song when I’m sitting ALONE in a 6 PERSON table with the whole restaurant staring at me WTF can u imagine that??! On the real US birthday day (wtf I celebrated once Msian time and once US time wtf so kiasu) I went fine dining at Alexander’s Steakhouse in Cupertino with my then significant other. Eh that’s my first fine dining in US okay don play play wtf but of course I made a fool of myself tons of times hopefully nobody realize..haha I think nobody realize lar but I’ll blog about that maybe later in another entry coz it deserves a whole entry to itself so you can laugh at me wtf because I’m such a dork WTF!!!

Seriously When I think of all the stupid things I did that day in Alexander’s I’m laughing to myself right now YOU CAN NEVER IMAGINE WHAT A KAMPUNG GIRL I AM YA ALLAH AHAHAHAHA MALUNYA AHAHAHA

i barely have time to sit down and shit. No, i barely have time to even fart. So many things to do before end of september. I have to sit for the paper. I have to complete all the remaining work and do my work passdown to the new guy before I leave.  Then I have to pack my cube. Then I’m going down to Malacca a few days with a couple of friends before I head back to Sgt. 

Phewww…Then i’ll have some more time to blog and post more decent photos.

Mooncake Festival. I couldn’t go home so a few of us who stayed back in the Island gathered and did a barbeque. It was sort of a last minute decision. We just went for lunch in Secret Recipe and went to Jusco and grab everything in like less than 30 minutes. 

chicken wing, sausage, meatball, chickenball, meatball, ham, honey bbq marinade sauce, butter, longan, the grill, barbeque skewers, charcoal, paper cups and plates, ice.

phewwww….that’s a lot to get in less than an hour.

We had a hard time setting up the fire cause the wind is unbelievably BIG.

I didn’t do anything actually. I just stood at the side and watch.

My job is supposed to stand at the side and block the wind. But i failed terribly haha.

The first batch of food. hmph. Doesn’t look really good at all. We were so hungry everyone try to fit as many sausages as we could on 1 skewer hahaha SUPER KIASU can!

And in the end we discovered that by wrapping all the chicken wings into the aluminium foil and throwing it in the grill is a lot easier because we don’t have to hold the skewer and stand there. Besides it taste better too!

All of us gathered around while VSoon tried to unwrap the foil. Waiting impatiently to see the end result eheh.

Everyone is happy with our great discovery!

Lucky us the weather was just nice because it drizzled a bit and it was pretty cooling. Shu bought a few lanterns which we tried to light up and hang all around. 

In the end we only could light up 2 lanterns cause the wind is too big. =(

We then head up to FatBoySlim’s place and hang out. 

hahah no la hang out for me doesn’t always mean mahjong. I haven’t played mahjong for a long long long time like since I came back from the US last winter I only played like less than 5 times =(

Oh we also bought lian yong mooncakes, which everyone finished in less than 5 minutes haha it was just 2.5 hours after our barbeque and everyone is hungry already.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT?

I purposely didn’t want to buy any mooncake for myself even though I was sort of craving for it esp the Shanghai mooncake (the type where it’s crispy at the outer layer not the soft type u know what i mean?) because it’s so expensive. almost 10 bucks per mooncake! So being the stingy self, I waited until the festival is over, cleverly thinking that when the festival is over, they will reduce the price for all the mooncakes.

I happily thought I could eat the same mooncake that all of you ate but at half of the price! Clever right? hohohohoh………

Turns out all the mooncakes are sold out in all the stores the next day T___________________________T

We celebrated Kevin’s birthday in this new place called Sire Museum Restaurant. It’s actually owned by the grandsons of Yeap Chor Ee. The dining place is pretty small. Most of the building are occupied by decorations. More like selling environment more than food though.

We didn’t have a camera so just snapped a few photos with HY’s iPhone. They don’t allow us to take photos of the decorations, just the dining area. The next time I go I’m going to secretly take the photos don’t care.

the back part of the building has all the wooden chairs and paintings. It’s freaking big though no kidding.

The best food that night is the Garlic Bread with Cheese haha. But we’re too hungry we wallop everything. No time for photos.
